While the equipment may be hazardous if used unsupervised, the project is no more dangerous than any other physical activity. There are 2 adults supervising every 10 students at all times, plus 2 additional safety inspectors roaming the entire project. All adult helpers receive detailed safety instructions the day before.

Everyone participates to the best of their ability. Individual adjustments are made so that all students are fully involved.

Dress as they would for gym class. Gym shoes are recommended and must be worn for unicycling and tightwire. Performing outfits are worn over their clothes.

Where activities are easier for larger students, smaller ones are encouraged to try when they see it can be done — and vice versa. A 5th grader may never try a miniature bicycle until a 2nd grader does it first. Older students help the younger ones, and many find the extra responsibility rewarding.

Typically 2 project managers for up to 300 students, 3 for up to 500, 4 for up to 700, and so on.

Nothing but common sense. Detailed instructions are given beforehand, and help is available at any time during the program.

The project really depends on the volunteers. Having enough volunteers who attend the orientation meeting and show up on time on project day makes all the difference.

No — the more the merrier. Extra volunteers double up on the most strenuous positions.

We can accommodate most requests at the orientation meeting. That said, many parents who lead their own child's group later prefer not to — it's totally up to you.

Kindergartners have a blast going through the circuit in the morning. After lunch they rest — some even nap — before rehearsing their animal or clown acts. Half-day students can split: AM students do the circuits, PM students star in the show.

A bathroom/refreshment break is built into the morning circuit. Some schools set up drinks and snacks; others use the drinking fountains.

Yes — but only in assisting the student stars during their performance.

Integrate circus themes into the curriculum and decorate the school with circus art in the weeks leading up.

Depends on the number of participants — usually up to about 30 in an average grade-school gym.

Two managers for a program of up to 100 students.

Yes! Everyone can be a star during the performance.

Ideally at least 20′ × 30′ of level hard surface. Our show can adapt to play in most conditions.

Several — cooperation and perseverance are our favorites, and we can incorporate any message you like: no to drugs, bullying, traffic safety, or how to be a great audience.

Yes, we usually present one or two acts that involve audience participation.

We'll work with what's available — ideally enough room for all participants to move around in groups of 10–12.

Yes. Custom adjustments are made so that all team members participate to the best of their abilities.

Our impromptu performances are crowd favorites. We make sure not to interrupt the flow of the parade.

Yes — our party cycles each carry up to 6 passengers.

Yes. Our vehicles are big attention-getters with ample room for ad banners.
